On the workman’s bench There was the words of a fool He bent them and he shaped them Into a tower of jewels Someone tell me something that I don’t know He said I never have lied He said I never have failed But he was hitching a ride As he was pitching a sale Someone tell me something that I don’t know Someone tell me something that I don’t know It seems you’re not what you say Let’s say I’m not what I seem Well we let him keep talking And that was more than he knew Til he was backed up in the corner With the words dripping on his shoes Someone tell me something that I don’t know Someone tell me something that I don’t know © Geoff Achison 1997

Crazy Horse 07:17
I dreamt I was an Indian On the Wyoming plain Wrapped up in a buffalo robe Low down in the dirt Dabbing on my war paint I was thinking ‘bout my homeland Thinking ‘bout my woman and child I was waiting for the bluecoats Them murdering liars I was thinking it’s a good day to die Crazy Horse people, Red Cloud sky Crazy Horse people, Red Cloud sky I dreamt I was a soldier In the US cavalry Sat tall on a chestnut steed My pride and my joy Hunting for the savage enemy I was thinking ‘bout my hometown Thinking ‘bout a girl I used to know I’ve got one more silver dollar Til I next get paid I was thinking it’s a long way home Crazy Horse people, Red Cloud sky Crazy Horse people, Red Cloud sky I dreamt I was an eagle In the Wyoming sky Soaring high above On my eagle wings Watching with my eagle eye A symbol of freedom An omen for the brave I saw a silver eagle On a blood soaked coin An eagle feather in a dead man’s hair Crazy Horse people, Crazy Horse people Crazy Horse people, Red Cloud sky © Geoff Achison 2004

Anything you say Anything you do Good or bad Will come right back on you The earth keeps spinning Like a tilt-a-whirl Why don’t wise men Ever want to rule the world? Rich folks here Poor folks there There’s more than enough For the whole round world to share The earth keeps spinning Like a tilt-a-whirl Why don’t wise men Ever want to rule the world? Well I try and I try To make a difference in my life But time is tight Just trying to make a living Are there too many chiefs And not enough braves Too many thieves Just carving up this place? The earth keeps spinning Like a tilt-a-whirl Why don’t wise men Ever want to rule the world? © Geoff Achison 2004

Natch'l Fax 05:06
She walk that walk and she talk like that You just can’t hide from a natural fact Make you steal, she can make you lie She can make you spend your last dime Any sight, any scent, any sound You’ve got to turn your head around You think it’s heaven that you crave But if looks could kill you’d be in your grave It would be good if it weren’t so bad It would be fine if it weren’t so sad And that’s a natural fact I can recall when it all began The demon awoke and he took my hand I have been cursed from that day on And I cannot leave the girl alone Any sight, any scent, any sound I’ve got to turn my head around It makes no sense speaking logically But I have been damned, it’s not up to me It would be good if it weren’t so bad It would be fine if it weren’t so sad And that’s a natural fact Too late to be Trying to educate me I just don’t learn my lesson Any sight, any scent, any sound I’ve got to turn my head around It makes no sense speaking logically But I have been damned, it’s not up to me It would be good if it weren’t so bad It would be fine if it weren’t so sad And that’s a natural fact © Geoff Achison 1998

Adam and Eve 08:28
Adam and Eve were on Easy Street They lived together and they almost made it Were tempted by a forbidden sweet The dark side well they just had to taste it Ever be Naked on a sandy beach No place could be safe from the strangers The white peril from across the sea It was too late for the unlucky nations Ever be This will ever be And your God looks down And your devil may grin Still I don’t believe I don’t believe the innocent sin Born into a broken dream A sharp mind but it ain’t gonna help him Drugged out down on Easy street And locked up for the crime of the century Ever be How could this ever be? And your God looks down And your devil may grin Still I don’t believe I don’t believe the innocent sin © Geoff Achison 1995

Jungle 08:36
So you’re searching for the real thing Just what matters to yourself Not so much now, just enough now To consider it your wealth Could be a small house out in the country A brand new invention for the common good And you’re blessed with best intentions Let’s go walking through the woods Building your nest, collecting eggs Count your chickens, catch that goose Watch your back now, ride your fences ‘Cos the circus is on the loose JUST LIKE LIVING IN A JUNGLE OH YEAH THERE IS ALWAYS SOMETHIN’ COMING FOR YA Could be the taxman, maybe a partner Could be the devil in disguise Throwing a spanner to what you’re working Turning tables overnight Even a lion has got to chill out sometimes If he don’t need, he just won’t kill But 60 million dollar man Have he will, have he will JUST LIKE LIVING IN A JUNGLE OH YEAH THERE IS ALWAYS SOMETHIN’ COMING FOR YA And the law here in this jungle Is everything shall have it’s place So don’t get bitter, just get stronger You’ve got to run your race JUST LIKE LIVING IN A JUNGLE OH YEAH THERE IS ALWAYS SOMETHIN’ COMING FOR YA © Geoff Achison 1996

Hocus Pocus A pocket full of spells You can do hoodoo Scratch a coin on the wishing well Magical potions Zodiacal signs A cosmic commotion Blackbirds in a pie One Ticket, One Ride (x4) Tick-tock, tick-tock Running out of sand Waitin’ at the station Yeah, with a ticket in my hand Instamatic moolah A stash o’ cold cash Maybe a million gazillion Nah, too bad I’ve got to play again One Ticket, One Ride (x4) Never you mind If the nickel fails You can keep on playing ‘Til your lucky day One Ticket, One Ride (x4) © Geoff Achison 2008

Magic Belt 08:39
I’ve got a magic belt And a flying cape When world’s in trouble I’m on my way It ain’t easy To be there in the nick of time Like a lightning strike Across the sky A thunderbolt Prepared to fight The bad guys fall And the villain never wins How many more years Can this battle go on? How many more years Have I got to fool myself? This time my work is done When good and evil Come face to face I guess I’ll go And take my place And never question Which side I am truly on How many more years Can this battle go on? How many more years Have I got to fool myself? This time my work is done © Geoff Achison 2006

No-one wants you No-one loves you Until you love yourself one time No-one needs you No-one heeds you Until you heed yourself one time It just might scare you Anything you care about But if you don’t dare to Who is gonna bother trying to cut you down? No-one minds you No-one finds you Until you find yourself one time No-one owes you No-one knows you Until you know yourself one time It just might scare you Staring at the top of the hill But if you don’t dare to Who is gonna follow when you’re standing still? No-one tells you Nobody can help you Until you help yourself one time And once you taste it Keep taking your sweet time ‘Cos once you make it You’ll be standing on the top thinkin’ it’s better to climb No-one tells you Nobody can help you Until you help yourself one time © Geoff Achison 1997

Looking out my window Watching all the traffic running by Everybody’s on their journey Trying to live their own sweet life Well I’m tired of living in fear And I’m tired of locking my front door Searching all the faces Trying to see who’s out to get me Suspicious of my neighbors Am I living with the enemy? Well I’m tired of living in fear And I’m tired of locking my front door Turning off my TV Turning off my radio too I’ve got a mind to change my mind I’ve got a mind to change my attitude Well I’m tired of living in fear And I’m tired of locking my front door © Geoff Achison 2004

Be careful what you wish for You know some day it may come true (x 2) Money makes you mean Fame will eat you up And I just might lose my mind over her She’s love in motion I only speak it like I see (x 2) I wished to have her near me Why don’t I ever learn? When I just might lose my mind over her Be careful what you wish for You know some day it might come around (x 2) Money makes you mean Fame will eat you up And I just might lose my mind over her © Geoff Achison 1998
